No idea, I am sure now days PC based VR could do whatever game with mappings or whatever

I just saw this as I am somehow in the super far off Linkedin network of one of the guys that made it, that is how I saw it... I was doom scrolling linkedin because why not... and I saw the trailer thumbnail, and I was like 'oh an ad...a tiefighter ad?' then I read some of the post and was like 'this is a really REALLY long post for an ad / fake post promoting the game' - turned out to be not a "ad" ad, but the actual guy posting about how many hours he and the team did, what tools and stuff and a long little blurb and really just a link to the trailer, not a link to buy/signup/steam or whatever- so I figured it was old news, but knew the FoH bros liked this and xwing (who didnt!) so I wanted to share the love.
My wife talked me into making a Linkedin profile when we still lived in CLT NC 11.5 years ago since she got a job on it. I have not been on mine for at least 11 years and I still get spam messages from them, unsubscribe doesn't do shit.

100k people played Highgarden, and they had like 10k people the next day. It wasn't the online hate. It's because the game wasn't good.
3v 3 hyper sweaty pvp game… just screwed from jump street. Think marathon will have similar long term problem

yeah, I've linked them before. as he releases new ones. This is unquestionably the most in depth and well researched Ultima/origin systems restrospective.
They are fantastic. I really recommend going right back to the start and Alakabeth.
They aren't just about the games. but also the company. the people.

Like this on.. he is finished talking about Pagan at 2:45. then spends 37minutes, on System shock, Wing commander 3, Crusader no remorse, as well as bioforge. and warren spencer going to ionforge. (deus ex.)

shit I didn't even know about Crusader no remorse.

looks like each vid takes about 2-3 months. and he does other stuff too. like the kings field/shadowtower retrospectives are great too.
Majuular's videos are amazing. Early Ultima was before my time but I still found his retrospectives fascinating.

I'm very curious to see how he'll tackle Ultima Online once he gets there.

The only female I remember that anyone took notice of in the industry was Jade Raymond. I went to find what she's up to these days and no surprise, nothing.

In March 2021, Raymond founded Haven Studios, a new independent development studio, with Sony Interactive Entertainment investing in the studio to create a new original IP for PlayStation. In July 2022, Sony Interactive Entertainment acquired Haven Studios, making them a first-party developer for PlayStation Studios.Their first game is the upcoming title Fairgames, a multiplayer live service game built around heists. In May 2025, it was announced that Raymond had left the company.

She left her own damn company. I'm sure Sony killed "Fairgames" after all their live service games failed horribly.

Slay the Spire 2 releases tomorrow. I cant wait. STS1 is one of the best roguelike games of all time, and the sequel has co-op!

After quick forum search I was surprised to see the lack of mentions on this game's early access. I was even more surprised that there isn't a thread for the original game.

Amy Hennig was a writer on the original Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver series and is generally credited as the driving force behind the success of the Uncharted series before Druckmann ran her out of the studio. There was a big scramble several years ago to deboonk that story but it fits the overall image of Neil Druckmann as an insecure man-child.

That being said, Hennig's only credit in the last decade is as a story consultant for...Forspoken.
