Yeah. October will probably have a decently heavy release schedule too. I know No Rest for the Wicked devs were discussing either releasing before gtavi or well after. I bet November through January have a light release schedule.

Then the CEO of Xbox comes out and says, "We're excited to announce Gears of War E-Day as an Xbox console exclusive."

Fuck Microsoft and Sony. I know they need to sell consoles, but they can suck a dick with that pajeet presentation. Absolutely brain dead to think people would be "excited" by it being an exclusive.

I do know a handful of girls that play video games.

Minecraft and The Sims.

Out of the girls I know, that’s what they play. That’s it.

While it is true that 50% of gamers are women, most of those are mobile players, and almost all of them are cozy games, not military and gore simulators like Gears of War.

I thought we were post console exclusives with Xbox. I still have an XSX, but I would rather play it on my pc where I’ll get more than 30 fps at low settings. A new game in 2026 coming out exclusively on hardware that’s 6 years old is bananas.

This is an exact opposite take compared to every video game analyst on Playstation needing to go back to exclusives in order to fix the brand. Exclusives make the consoles worth buying.
