I subscribed to Game Informer like 2 decades ago until I moved, and still had some of the old issues. They were great, long write ups on games, no politics just gaming.
So I bit the bullet and tried their new subscription. Though the format has changed a bit (it's pretty much just 2-6 pages dedicated to each game, repeat) I felt like a kid again getting a new gaming mag in the mail lol. It got me excited for new releases I've never heard of again.
I spend 0 time on any of the gaming websites aside from the occasional links sent my way from aggregate sites.

Well, at least PHYSINT has a good cast, especially Don Lee.
Between the tranny activist and Jordan Peele co-writing, I still have zero interest whatsoever in OD. Plus it's basically what PT was supposed to have been, and I never really cared much about that in the first place. Unfortunately, it seems like it's the one we'll get first (I'd guess end of '27 or early '28 based on how long it's already been in development) and PHYSINT is probably still years away from being done.

I mean... it's Kojima, you can't really expect anything else. I'd say the cast is more relevant info for his games than pretty much anyone else's, just because of the frequency and length of the cutscenes in them.
More importantly, I think it was all about the Xbox PR dept. insisting on putting out something for TGS since this is big news right now, and the two games are still so far from being done that they had nothing else to show.

Maybe the non gamer street shitter at Xbox can get Kojima in line. He's so high minded he doesn't have time for trivial things like budgets and timelines. I do like (most) of his games though.

Even if I thought PT was the greatest thing ever, I definitely don't want the version of it starring Hunter Schafer and written by Jordan Peele.

Control would have been a much better game if it had a cohesive story and not just intoduce favorite scp after favorite scp.
