This forum talked about the news story when it first broke.

The media is being - unsurprisingly!! Very disingenuous in how they state “the adoptive parents got charged with child neglect!!!!”

The take the “kid” word 100 but doubt the adults.

The media then reluctantly says… oh but the charges on the dad were dismissed and then dropped for the mom… oh and the “kid” left her 3rd adoptive parents as well and is starting to flame them as well…

The “kid” is full of crap
