So with the coming of the High Sparrow, will they have the whole Cersei killing off the old one that allowed High Sparrow come into power you think? Or will they have done it a different way?

Yet again the TV viewers are thinking "Daenerys is going to totally kick ass this season!" when she's actually not. I'm still excited for it though. I can't wait for Cersei's walk of shame.

Tyrion just cruising down the river was already pretty tedious I don't see why they'd drag it out. First episode is probably him meeting with that rich dude and getting on the boat, next is possibly going thru the bermuda triangle then third is probably revealing the Dany plan and making his way there.

Dany is going to fly away on a dragon at the end of this season. I doubt Dany fans will be disappointed.

If I liked that character I would be pretty disappointed, she loses 2 of her dragons, has no where to go and only has Drogan at that point

Wouldn't be surprised if they change that for the show. Disappointed sure but wouldn't be surprised. It looks like the conflict is going to be sons of the harpy invading the pits during the ceremony rather than pit fighters/gladiators celebrating the reopening of the fighting pits/unification of mereen and then drogon attacks.

Also since they showed dany's reunion with drogon in the trailer, it's at night and at the temple, not during the day at the fighting pits. sure drogon could also land during the fighting for dany to ride off on but it's not much of a surprise if she (and the audience) has already seen him.

Well they have to try and make Dany more likeably. I don't think she is very likable in the books and really feel/hope she's going to end up a pseudo villain.

Dany is plenty likeable, her character is just boring. The dragons are the only thing she has going for her other than her being hot looking.

She's gotten pretty boring in the show. All she does is stand in a room and make declarative statements most of the time.

Yea, but most of the show is pretty boring except for their one big episode per season. And that show makes up for it.

It's not like Sparticus, where every single episode was a wonderful rollercoaster of "what the fuck did I just watch" and "omg, seriously? lololol"

Martin seems to be under the impression that he has some sort of deep social insight or something.

Edit: Dudes walking around in leather, fur, and cloaks while they buckleswash is alright though. Don't get me completely wrong.

I disagree with the show being boring most of the time.

But Dany's parts are pretty boring.

Not sure how this show is going to survive without the Arya/Hound odd couple dialogue.
