Hmm no idea what to do. My characters are gone and on social club it shows I don't have a character but I still have 400k apparently...

Wonder if I should just wait and see if the character some how shows back up in the next couple days.

Try reloading the game again, it should show up properly when the servers are stable.

Well the scary part is on social club it shows I don't have a character....even though i've earned 90k RP and have the level 25 achievement. Obviously I deleted my character after I got 25 right? hah

I've also spent double what I have earned since starting.

Played online for a few hours today during the free XBOX Live weekend. May have to go ahead and re-subscribe, it was a hell of a lot of fun. Got in several races, a bunch of missions, and then spent some time just randomly chasing people down on the map and killing them.

Didn't have any problems getting any missions going at any point, everything worked flawlessly all afternoon.

I think they could up the people on a map a little bit, maybe to 24 or even 32, but even with 16 people I had no issues finding people regularly to fight/kill when roaming around. Much more than that and it's going to be damn hard to get anywhere in town without people ambushing you constantly. Although I'd be ok with like 64 on a map if other people didn't show up on the map. I shouldnt be able to effortlessly track someone down across the entire map.

Question though - do you ever get more than $100 for killing another player? Seems like if someone is carrying a bunch of cash on them you should get at least a little bit more than that.

Pretty sure the X360/PS3 could not handle that at all, barely handles 16 with this game. Also I think Steath works joe, just almost no one ever uses it.

RE money: You only drop money over 5k and the game informs you of thisevery single timeyou go over 5k to bank your shit. So I just assume people religiously bank shit.

No wonder Rockstar delayed the launch of the Online mode. Otherwise it would have dragged down the overall scores reviewers were giving it and hurt sales. If only the tiniest bit.

Do you know if you have to be a certain rank to sell some of those? I tried to mod/sell one of the mercedes suv's the other day when I was sub-rank 10 and the fuckers wouldn't open the damn door for me.

Planes need to be just a *tad* more durable for races. Most car races are also a destruction derby for the first few checkpoints until people spread out.

I'm slow so I just beat this this morning.

Probably the best GTA story so far.

My favorite moment is this (Spoiler warning)



That song playing during that mission is fucking amazing. The whole narrative device is very Big Lebowski.

Really enjoyed the shit out of this.
