Not really at all comparable. People talked PLENTY of shit about Bethesda prior to Starfield. Fallout 4 was a hunk of shit, FO 76 was a big miss, etc.
Rockstars last game was RDR2 in 2018, well after/during the "woke" era and yet many people still consider it one of their best titles.
I have a feeling the only people who will hate GTA VI are those that already had their mind made up due to the Internet.

No one here, when Starfield came out, was sitting here saying Bethesda had a spotless track record and if they were they should be shamed out of future game discussions.

I'm sure this game will have lots of detail and it's going to be massive - but this IP just doesn't do it for me like it used to. Give me Grand Theft Auto: LA Noire or a London setting or something different. Far more interested in a Cyberpunk sequel, or shit even a return to RDR.
I'm sure it will be "good", but yeah. Better pray their team of women writing the GTA Online content wasn't involved in writing this one. I'll play and beat it once just as I did with GTA V, and never think about it again.
