I find the open world content just endlessly enjoyable. Combat mechanics make it especially fun. Like I said above, best single player MMO of all time.

There is just an incredible amount of content in the game right now. Holy shit. Then again, my characters had13 birthday boxes waiting for them when I logged in, so I've been away for a minute.

I feel like everything after path of fire was a massive decline in quality, writing and world building. Its sad to see as I've played this game a ton and quickly lost interest post PoF.

They really started packing on the ridiculous time gated quest steps in the previous expansion to the point I stopped playing like 3 steps in.

It’s easily been 15 years since I played but I have super fond memories and wondered how it holds up.

Same game as it was before. I haven't tried it because I only have negative memories of it, lol.

Interesting video. For those of you who hate the gay, it gets very rainbow around 3/4's in. GW2 is still one of my favorite mmo's but I've always hated it's writing team.

Their original writing team was great, the way they hid bits of relevant info all around the world that only happened between NPCs. They did a stellar job, then it just went into the shitter so quickly. Really sad to see.
