I’m all for it and hopefully they make a cool game everyone enjoys, but I don’t really get it.

When I think of “game theory where I can build a tank/healer/dps combo and go explore the content” I think Morrowind already did it better than these guys will

buyer beware, i believe we've all experienced the downfalls of kickstarter backed games but this is up now.

It's interesting where they are taking this now that they aren't constrained by shit spaghetti code from 27 years of everquest + emulator shenanigans. Some interesting design ideas, hampered of course by a complete lack of content. looks like they plan on using AI and purchased assets to fill gaps while focusing on game design.
