Ive said for a long time they should just do a show about the teachers when they were students, or a villains show about Tom Riddle when he was a student. Give me a Penguin version of young Voldemort. That would be awesome. Then they wouldnt be strapped to any kind of current lore and could do new adventures. Just rehashing the kids again is a massive uphill battle.

The books are very different after the second film. Particularly Prisoner of Azkaban and Half Blood Prince. Doing a show to make it like the books make sense and it introduces it to a potential newer younger audience they could then use the likeness of at Universal Studios and save $$ etc. Its not a bad plan I just dont get the changes.
