Having issues with streaks. I had some fingerprints on the new G5 that I wanted to remove. I got these pretty great wet wipes that did the trick well for removing hand/finger prints...or did at first. Noticed they were leaving a lot of streaks and residue, after initially not leaving anything. It's worse off now than before I started trying to clean it. Any suggestions, in terms of brand or wiping style?

Nope, do not use that shit. Stuff like that can potentially damage the coatings on the screen.

Slightly damp paper towel to clean, then use a microfiber cloth.

Even better, two microfiber cloths, one wet and one dry. Even when drying with a microfiber cloth I find paper towels always leave little paper dust everywhere.

I don't let my TV's connect to the internet. I just plug my Google TV streamer in and never give the built in shit my wifi password. I know Google is spying on me too but I'm used to that.

If you just paid $1000+ for a good TV, what's $30 to $50 more to buy an Android box that you have more control over? No need to connect a TV to the internet, especially since they all have worse custom manufacturer locked OS bullshit on them (and probably worse hardware too).

What did updating that firmware even get you? Patching out security flaws so hackers can't access your network through the TV that's not connect to it?

as far as i can tell they love fucking w/ the menu screen and buring the tv/hdmi1/hdmi2 areas further down and fill it w/ more streaming shortcuts

why do i have my tv connected

everyone is gonna hate it when i say thats how i turn it on w/ alexa

I have a LG TV , it was hardwired to the switch in my living room. Then I got a Nvidia Shield and unplugged the TV cat cable. The shield keeps wanting me to upgrade but to me that means , give us more of your info so fuck that. Wife watches Youtube TV on it and I watch my NAS via KODI. Not putting down YTTV as I have 2 NFL games on in my game room right now on it.
