Think it's legal to have a %% blood wolf , an ex employee of mine had one and explained it to me. I saw it once, it looked at you like food. He was afraid of it and kept it in a cage (not sure why anyone would want one but ...this is 'merica and freedom I guess.
We had one when I was growing up, was timber wolf in part German Shepherd. Was a good dog that's not too bright. After I had moved off to college, and it was just my mom and sister at our house, mom got home from school one day and both of our dogs were loose out of the kennel. The wolf mix had a rope around his neck like somebody had tried to snag him. At the time they were resurfacing all the roads in our neighborhood, so it stands to reason somebody on one of those road crews tried to steal him and between him and our Afghan hound it was too much of a hassle.

The problem is when Mom tried to go get him, he growled at her pretty menacingly. Mind you he had never been that way in all of the years we had him, and unfortunately it scared her enough that we ended up putting him down.

Pretty sure it was Mexicans though, because apparently they've got a thing for Huskies and any type of dog that looks that way like a wolf.
