I guess my incentive is that I see it as 'constructed' not as 'ranked' (even though it is ranked)?

I finally drafted a hunter deck and my worst fears were realized. Got 2 buzzards out of the first 4 cards and then only 3 more beasts the rest of the draft (one of them another buzzard out of frustration). No hounds, no snake trap, fucking epic fail. 2-3 gg

My luck with Mages in Arena has been shit lately. No polys, no fireballs, no frostbolts. I have 2 water elementals and a flamestrike that I took over a fireball. Early in the draft I took a mana wurm and a violet teacher because I was a mage, what could go wrong?

I get the same streaks. I just took Paladin three arenas in a row. I have seen 1 Consecrate and 0 Truesilvers. Feels bad, man.

I've had really bad paly/mage drafts. Then one time I said "fuck it", chose hunter, then got 10+ removals and 2 arena bows. Finally took my 3 loss at 11 wins.

It's the randomness of class cards that pisses me off the most about this game. Just drafted a mage and for the first time ever, got the archmage. About the 6th selection in was him, Malygos or a leeroy.... Of course I never got one fireball to compliment him... not one fireball, flamestrike or sheep. 1 frostbolt

but they kept throwing secrets at me left and right.

Hungry Crab new meta. That game was pretty amazing. The setup in this tournament really lends itself to something like that though with bo7 + double elimination + one off on the secret deck

Got pretty nice late game with this hunter arena (got Ragnaros as well). 6-1 atm. Lost to a mage with Deathwing amusingly.

Think he meant the 2nd one he conceded on turn 6. Probably went buzzard with the trap up, guy attacked buzzard to kill it, proced trap for massive card draw then wolf+unleash, gg.
