I wonder how much these Hearthstone tournaments are going to generate for their winnings in the next 2-3 years.

I have a feeling we will see multiple million + dollar tournaments

Unless they change their tournament system and get away from the pick three ban one system and favor streamers instead of competitors I don't think Hearthstone will gain a real footing in the tournament scene.

The Hearthstone World Champion Firebat did not get an invite to a single "tournament" because he wasn't a famous enough streamer. Same with Kibler and he's a fucking Magic Hall of Famer.

Just thought I'd pop in and reiterate that anyone who thinks Undertaker doesn't need to be nerfed is still a fucking retard who should be banned from posting in this thread.

That is all.
Only really started playing Constructed seriously recently again besides just knocking out my quests daily, and I think it's really rock-paper-scissors for them, because honestly, UT's don't scare me at all - I've had ONE substantially impact the board yet and haven't found myself having to make exceptionally bad trades for them. Like worst is generally a Swipe - but usually they're supported by stuff the extra damage takes down quite often.

And while Control did get quite a few nice tools, we can't actually use them when the game is over / decided by Turn 4.
If you find games being decided by turn 4 often you're doing something wrong, it should require both good luck from your opponent and bad luck on your part. It certainly happens sometimes, but there should also be times where you got an ideal opening hand and your opponent got crap.

Aggro is a necessary evil unfortunately.

In other news, I think it may actually be worth laddering w/ harrison atm, at least where I am, running into mostly warriors, hunters, and paladins with some rogue and shaman sprinkled in.

Never have I sunk this many hours into a game I hate so much, my brain keeps telling me next hand/card will be better and this is a good time but my heart and dick say WTF are you doing?!

Anyone ever had this issue? Google has not given me any inkling as to what the fuck is going on. All the threads have people posting about it and then abandoning the thread, so I'm guessing it's something stupid that I'm missing. But I can't find a fix so far.

I was playing earlier with no issue.

Noticed that Adrienne Curry is streaming Hearthstone. She's so bad, couldn't take more than a couple minutes.

Catching up with Strifecro's streams from this week and Jesus is that guy on a roll.

Then you found out where he lived and murdered him and his genetic line I hope....right? right!?!?!?!?
If only.

I do think the meta is pretty gross right now. Agro decks work on ladder because they have the potential to get these blowout starts and most control decks have one answer that works (Fiery War Axe, Wrath, Frostbolt, etc). If you don't get that answer, you lose to those blowout starts. That accounts for about half the wins of agro decks and it just isn't fun to play against those starts. I actually think agro can be interesting to play against, carefully planning out your turns, saving clears, etc. but when I run into agro on ladder most of the time it is like the game I posted about, I mulligan hard for removal, remove as much power from the board every turn as I can, and still lose. It sucks. Really if there were simply a better answer to death rattles besides silence I'd be happy. Exorcist isn't good enough and Purifier is Paladin only. They won't add more silence options, which leaves.... not a lot. Pyromancer combos, I guess. Not so great for most classes.

I've gotten so pissed at aggro that I've made purely anti hunter and anti zoo decks. Instantly conceding any match that wasn't hunter or lock.
