Claiming to know the worth of cards before the expansion is out is even more unrealistic, sorry dude. Keep an open mind before writing things off. I am not claiming this card to be OMG AWESOME. Read my whole post and you should see I'm rather indifferent on it. I know the 5 slot is populated and Shaman can have an even harder time at 5 because they could be Overloaded, so this card is definitely an alternative to Healbot.
But hey, it's fun seeing you guys say "omg it's bad" to every single card.
What's hilarious is seeing how pros differ so drastically on cards, too. You guys claim to know it all and yet even the pros can't reach an agreement.
Reynad actually likes Lock and Load and is somewhat favorable toward Demon Fuse, which is crazy considering how much heat everyone else gives these 2 cards.
But hey, it's fun seeing you guys say "omg it's bad" to every single card.

I've actually been playing Marvel Heroes all morning, I'm nice and calm. The ladder elitist shtick is just a running not quite joke of mine. I am fixing to fire it up now, but just to knock out my dailies, not for any serious ladder grinding.
Anyway if you look at the decks currently running healbot, most of them are also running belchers and some are running loatheb too. Antique Healbot isn't a 5 drop anyway. If you're casting healbot on turn 5, it's frequently a desperation play and you're probably going to lose anyway because you aren't doing anything to their board. Similarly, if you're dropping a big heal on turn 3, you're not doing anything to the board and you're probably going to lose anyway. Healbot is also better because it's a body and a heal rolled up into 1, which is important when your resources are limited to 30 cards.
Flash Heal will probably be playable in priest because it's a cheap spell that you can combo with pyro or auchenai. Healing Wave is just junk.

So that game I posted an hour ago where I won with 1 life against a Hunter because I didn't use my hero ability/cast another minion? I was 5-2 when that happened. Pulled the win just barely thanks to arena experience. The game directly after that I played another *ridiculous* Hunter that did this:
He played 2 Knife Jugglers in the first 3 turns, 2 Deadly Shots in the first few turns, 2 Kill Commands (with 2 more discarded) and got me down to 2 life. So win 6 was on the line at 1 life against a Face Huntard, win 7 was on the line at 2 life against a Face Huntard. But, alas, I won. Had I used my Hero ability on game 7 I would have lost at 5-2, but because I didn't, I ended up 12-2 with no Consecrates. Feels good man. That was one of the best arenas I've had in a while (in terms of intensity and how close the games were).
Missing cards were: Sludge Belcher, Spectral Knight, x2 Frost Elemental, x1 Guardian of Kings and x1 Force Tank Max.

Heh, the entire thread since spoilers started have been much of this. Writing off cards before the entire set is spoiled is folly. I think HS is the first TCG for some of the so called experts in this thread.
Gavin where can I send the remaining salt? I think some of your overflow found my keyboard, or I need better shampoo.
That's the big issue. Unless Shaman gets a draw engine that works (or a soulpriest neutral), healbot is simply better outside of some few edge cases.

I played magic for years. At two state championships in a row, I created the Team Flores deck without the benefit of a group of pro players to brainstorm and playtest with. Beach House(BWG control) in 2005 and This Girl(UWR control) in 2006. Seeing as how at the time Team Flores was the premier group of deckbuilders in all of competitive MtG, I'm pretty confident in my ability to analyze cards as well as any other pro player in the world.
My analysis of GvG was more accurate than not. The cards I whiffed on were Healbot, Lil Exorcist, Fel Reaver, Troggzor, Dunemaul Shaman, and Bouncing Blade. I completely missed Imp-losion and Dr Boom, but everybody missed Dr Boom. If I hadn't missed Dr Boom, I would have realized nobody would run Troggzor and I might have realized that Fel Reaver would become unplayable with all the BGH floating around.

I also demolished everyone at my local store once I got lured into playing Battletech, and the same a couple years later at a different store when someone got me into Warlords.

Also, I don't know if I'm just having a good day or if one day being back on Adderall is having that much of an effect on my mood, because I've lost some bullshit ass matches clearing these dailies but I ain't raging for once. Just played against against a mech mage who drew both blastmages in his top 11. Even played around a single blast mage by keeping a mech off the board, but later he played them on back to back turns and wrecked my board, and my only out was drawing a second consecrate.
Gonna push for rank 5 while I'm still in a good mode.

Don't like to brag about playing fucking card games but you don't need to be an expert to know that straight heal cards are almost universally considered terrible. Double so with card games with capped max health like HS. Unless the card gives you some board advantage like healbot or has some other combo or other effect they are usually the worst cards in the set. So YES if they reveal a shaman card that reads "when you gain 7 health draw 3 cards" it might be good but any idiot can look at a card In a vacuum.
Also, I've posted this before many many times that the Hearthstone "pro" community is fucking bullshit and rewards personality and being a good streamer over actually being good at the game. Look at how dogshit trump is in tournaments and how Krip would rather cast than actually play because they are fucking performers first experts second. Good players like Firebat don't even get invited to tournaments because he isn't a popular streamer even though he's the fucking world champ. It's all about stream views and not actually being good.
So when you mention how reynad likes shit cards it doesn't prove anything other than how the hearthstone OP system is flawed.

Also, as a_skeleton_02 said, Hearthstone pros are not that great at the game currently. Partly because the tournament scene rewards personality over skill, but also because the game is just new. Anyone who played MTG seriously can easily see how much room for improvement the pro Hearthstone community has. In other words, professional MTG players are much, much, muuuch better at MTG than professional Hearthstone players are at Hearthstone. There are whole strategic areas of the game that players haven't gotten around to engaging in in Hearthstone.
