Had an interesting tell from someone after the downtime - "Got the new offsets?". After asking what he was talking about he (Slumdog no clue his numbers as he removed before I thought to note it) removed me from friends so no followup or anything.

Not sure if it was a joke, or it was a WoW thing (most of my friendslist is random people I friended to discuss their decks and most are WoW players it seems when I see them on Friends) or what - but definitely odd. Funny considering I've been feeling almost like I'VE been hacking recently with how my luck has just been amazing on topdecks recently. Amongst other things, all this morning from 3am-7am EST or so was nothing but "Oh crap, I'm screwed unless X card is the next one I draw" cases constantly occurring.

I had this horrible dream that both MtG and League of Legends put out Hearthstone clones. I remember drafting a 1600/1440 Nasus with a battlecry that gave a minion Tiamat effect. None of the Magic cards were creatures. They were just terrible, terrible spells.

It even persisted through a click of the snooze alarm.

I hate aggro decks, but at the same time I would hate playing nothing but late game control too, which everyone would be doing if it weren't for huntard and warrior aggro.

Just got fucked by a new bug after maintenance. Apparently cards that got value changes are reverting back to old mana costs. My unleash the hounds was 4 mana when I needed it to be 2, and I lost cuase of it. :/

Blizz rep posted on the hearthstone sub reddit that they are working on it.

Today is just weird all around. I was playing ranked and 3 different players used one of the following:

Mind Control Techs... Actually destroyed me since I was running Murlock and never saw them coming. But who the fuck runs MCT? Guess a streamer popped some in to stop aggro decks or something...
Gelbin. Yes. Gelbin. He dropped the buff minion and it kept targetting my minions so I won that one easily.
Millhouse Manastorm. Lost that one too. Murlock doesn't run spells but just the shock of seeing Millhouse (Druid deck and not the netdecked aggro pally that uses him).

Mind Control Tech was becoming popular until the uth buff hit then he went back to obscurity. Geblin? There was a thread on liquidhearth discussing him this morning so maybe someone wanted to see just how bad he is.

I had said it felt like it. And the frame by frame was only something I noticed because of a stream hiccup, not anything I did intentionally until I rewound to make sure.

And on this I've got NFC what he was asking for offsets for. Hell might be a ShowEQ user for all I know. It's just weird.

But noting weirdness without presumptions of what the weirdness means is clearly conspiracy theorizing.

Seems to me that you either run a full suite of taunts or you shouldn't bother running any.

0 taunts is fine for tournaments, for laddering you're asking to not stand a chance to 1/3 people you run into.

I meant 0 taunts in one deck can be fine because at least one of your three decks should be designed to counter aggro.

Moonfire can be ok. Moonfire+hero power is 2dmg on 2, which isn't terrible. Basically, it's 2damage for 2mana and 1card, with the caveat you need to actually attack shit, but it's not like super super awful. It's also early, maybe you get a drake or a geomancer and it becomes better. Or hell, Malygos.
