Honestly couldn't tell you a Michael Mann film that I didn't enjoy on some level. The dudes just good at what he does.

Heat without Kilmer is like Rambo without Stallone. I'm still going to watch it because I loved the original and I guess I want to be thoroughly disappointed with Hollywood. Again.

I have faith it'll be good. It's one of Mann's most iconic movies, and if he's willing to do a sequel, he'll probably do it justice. He seems to get carte blanche with his films.

If DiCaprio is playing the new Neil or Chris, this movie will be fine. He's a better actor than Kilmer was too.

Heat is in my Top 5 all-time, but I have faith in Mann. Like others have said, even his shittiest movies are still entertaining on some level. Collateral and Miami Vice are both very underrated.

Screenrant is trash so that's something they would do. A trade publication like Deadline would have likely called it Michael Mann classic.

Yeah, for some reason they pop up on my news feed all the time, and the majority of their articles are hot garbage.
