10 year old game I had on ignore for some reason but it is literally all the good action rpgs rolled into one.
Bunch of classes/builds, and the insane POE type skill trees only come into play post level 100
Liked it so much I rolled a hardcore character...just died due to a dumb spot to check loot.
Only annoying thing so far is in co-op some quests don't spawn for all players, quick reset though gets it done.

They completely redid the game 2 and an half years ago and destroyed it. It’s absolute shit now compared to how it used to be. They should have just released it as a 2.0 and kept the original it is so different. They even had a lot of negative feedback in the discord and they just started banning people. Was a really weird decision. I uninstalled it from Steam and kept the non-updated exe so I can still play the old version.

Interesting. I picked it up for $3. Seems fairly amusing, and some of the usual arpg suspects have been playing it on twitch lately. Seems good for the price for sure, but definitely grind athon vibes lurking at the edge.
Not that we can easily play whatever old version you have, but what's the tldr?

I mean if you like the current version then play it, like you said it’s only $3. They just changed a lot of shit including the way you attack and control your character. It just drastically changed the game from what it was, enough so that they should’ve made it a new version. Call it 1.5 and resold it while keeping the original open. It felt like a big bait and switch with how big the change was. I remember when it happened some people got pissed and made the iso for the original version available via the high seas so you may still be able to get it somewhere. I think you just run it outside steam like I can don’t doesn’t update to the new version.

Anyone that voiced criticism in discord got banned. I saw they have a lot of negative reviews due to accidental in game banning too. Whatever they use to detect cheating sounds like it’s too sensitive.

When I look at the exe properties it says product version 5.9.6.0.

I see several versions prior to that on the high seas but not that one exactly. Those would have the old systems/controls that I liked though.

I've seen 5.5.0 ， I'll check it out later.

I played it for a while 3 years ago - it's not bad, not amazing.

Like every ARPG, it plateaus at end game and ran out of interest for me. I've been meaning to go back but never have.

They monetized by making new classes a purchasable item.
