This is coming out in EA soon. Looks good after watching some videos recently. This style game would be pretty decent with rogue like features on top of the RNG maps. I never did play any of these campaigns, just the skirmish mode.

I really dont know why they deviated from the formula for what worked so well. I put an incredible amount of hours into the HOMM series.

Game devs crawl in their own ass thinking they are artists trying to freshen up the formula when players just want the quality and experience. Leading to civ 7 when we just wanted a new civ 4 heh

True, but these guys seem like eastern european autists rather than ameritrash. So there's a little more hope in this case.

So I didnt know anything about the game coming out and had mostly lost interest in the series. This one harkening back to its OG roots is a blessing, I think.

Looks decent enough to wishlist but we will see. For those that don’t know Kings Bounty is a good one to play if you need some HoMM in your life.

Yeah, the King's Bounty 1 games (Ultimate edition) are probably the best HOMM clones made.

I also liked Hero's Hour and Song of Conquest, which were recent releases, although both of them can get a little long in terms of once you get to certain point in the various campaigns, it starts to get a repetitive, quicker than I remember HOMM getting to that point.

All of them have their own quirks; Song of Conquest is a direct HOMM clone, but with a different magic system, where Hero's Hour is an auto-battler in the combat portion, but HoMM in overmap.

She sounds annoying. Game looks good. I'm a sucker for these, but Im holding out until I know the price. Its not a 40+ game. 30 or less and Ill get it.

Same. I refuse to pay more than $30 for EA, just on principle. Even if it was a Fromsoft game.

just mute it like normal person. If you played HOMM before, everything pretty much makes sense anyway.

Gonna buy it for sure. Very curious about mod support. In an ideal world we'd have another Horn of The Abyss
