Anyone ever jack around with recovering old Firefox logins and passwords?
I have a site I need to log back into, and all of the email accounts I can remember don't seem to work for their login/PW recovery. When I updated my OS a while back, I tried saving everything I thought I might need, including my old Firefox stuff.
I have the old login.json and key4.db files. But I need to copy-paste them into the new FF files. Or I need to paste them as separate login/pw files, but I don't know which. Googling only got me so far. But I don't know if FF only open the files specifically named 'login' and key4, meaning that pasting them as something like login2 key5.db would be meaningless.
Or...would I need to create an entirely separate Profile to open the old stuff with? Right now my only profile is the default+gibberish one
