Do you know what fridge you're getting? Check the specs on it. Some fridges want/need extra space around them for airflow, otherwise they'll run too much and get hot. I have a similar setup to you and the fridge I have recommends about a 6 inch gap behind and 1-2 inches on each side.
New fridges are all trash designed to crap out in ~5 years anyways so you don't need to worry about this. You should impose harsh working conditions on your Faulty Armor made refridgerator to show it who is boss. They actually respond positiviely to that kind of management.

Looks like the construction of our house is delayed because of the strait of Hormuz closure. Building costs have increased around 30%. The is the fourth delay. Our house was supposed to be completed at the end of February. Now it might be mid June. I'm legit scared that my wife is going to lose it. We three people including a 9 month old living in a 50m^2 space with me working remote. Shit's getting real...

Small is a relative term. Japanese women can be scary AF because they aren't retarded. She already has the construction company scared. Several of their higher ups have had meetings with us to apologize. Furthermore, they don't even talk to me me anymore. They mostly just greet and bow to her for the most part.

The first delay was because their original design didn't meet the expected earthquake resistance rating. The second delay was foundation was 1m off from the correct spot; I still don't understand how they could have screwed that up. The third delay was because they misscheduled our construction team. They were stuck on other projects. My guess is that the delays from the foundation screw up carried over to the construction team scheduling issues. Now they are saying there is a shortage of adhesive and calk because of a lack of petroleum.

my wife was watching some jap drama yesterday and as i walked in, i heard "sinku" and i was like "wtf, did they say sink?" and shes like "yea, he told him to wash the fruits in the sinku"

then that got me curious on how many japlingish words there are for the home
fucking furaipan is funny shit and kapetto words you really don't hear (watching shit) cuz theres like no carpets and when does frying pan come into play except a cooking show

and i really never thought about it, but they say beddo, if it's not a futon and a real american bed instead.

It's funny you mentioned that. I asked my wife about that too. Why do they use English words where Japanese words already exist for some of those things. Her reply was pretty much the same as your.

I'm honestly not sure about the foundation thing either, but after following Facebook groups about home construction the last year it appears to happen fairly often. Being off a bit, being slightly the wrong size, other inconsistencies. We just had our house plotted on the parcel from the survey company so that we have the points ready to go (bank needed it for the construction loan also). Professionally I've seen it happen when there are slight differences in projection or a mismatch in data used by something we've collected vs. what was provided. But they shouldn't be building off that information. It shouldn't be that way because there is a survey requirement for the parcel and then a secondary for placement of the foundation corners. There "shouldn't" be anything lost in translation there. After that it just comes down to crew screwing up.

It goes both ways with every language. Your example of"futon" is literally a Japanese word that has been adopted by English.

Gemini also lists "tycoon", "honcho", "tsunami", "karaoke", and "skosh" as Japanese words that were adopted by English and of course all the food words and things like "karate", "samurai", "anime", "manga" etc.

You can see this with any major language.

Our plot is about 95m^2. There isn't much space outside our house on the plot. Our "backyard" is about 1.8m deep and the front is supposed to have a .7m setback. My hypothesis is that they flipped the spacing between the setback in the front and the "backyard". I suppose it's a pretty easy mistake to make, but it delayed construction by about a month. BTW, we are on our third construction manager. I'm not sure what happened to the first lady after she screwed up the foundation. I think the second guy who screwed up the schedule either quit or was let go. his name is still on the construction site for the house next ours. The third guy seems pretty decent. He responds to all our inquiries. My feels bad for him, as he was left with a giant mess.

except we're using japanese words for japanese stuff

like today we use tsunami cuz thats japanesey, we don't say be ready for el nino the tsunami

we say karaoke cuz it's a jap invention

karate obviously origin jap martial art, same w/ samurai anime, etc

a sink is a fucking independently invented anywhere in the world except africa, in cantonese i would say "seu-chuo" which is basically translated to water trough,

but japs just go, "well america conquered us, lets tell these white devils to wash their hands in the sinku"
