We grew up on the Internet, pure and uncut, why not let them? We turned out alrig...oh.
trust me get them webroot 3 pcsWell I have 2 boys and really never paid it no mind. They both got their gaming computers I built them in the past year or so and they are 16 and 13 now. If I had girls, though, Im sure I would think differently. We definitely had talks about internet safety and porn and all that, like not to snap their dick pics and post them and other stupid shit. I told them they would be held accountable for child porn. We also told them to do a double think about who they are chatting with because it could be some predator or FBI. That pretty much scared them enough. The computers are in their rooms, but we have an open door policy in our house so when I walk by I see WTF they are doing. Mostly its just gaming and shit, im sure the occasional fap or two when were not around, but whatevs. Cant fucking keep them off the shit no matter how hard we try, maybe if we got rid of their phones and got rid of all internet.
Sadly this is the truth. What they cant do at home, theyll do at a friends house whos parents arnt as strict.Cant fucking keep them off the shit no matter how hard we try, maybe if we got rid of their phones and got rid of all internet.

Is keylogging your kids computer a good idea ?
In general, I mean.
To add on this most routers allow you to force the DNS (ex: my old RT-N66U has DNSFilter under parental options) so the kids can't just go in and replace the DNS on the computer with googles etc..I use this one for mine Cloud Delivered Enterprise Security by OpenDNS lots of presets to choose from, but the lowest setting is good enough for me. you just replace your router dns with the ones opendns provides and you're good to go. If you want to bypass the filters you just assign your original or other dns ip's to your client. Best of all its all free.
If I remember right I could disable YouTube on my son's tablet, but he just turned 5 so didn't know how to turn it back on.My kids are clueless as to how computers/networking works no matter how much I try to teach them, so this hasn't been an issue. However I have blocked youtube on occasion but found they were able to circumvent the block from their phones using the youtube app, I guess Google doesn't like parents/IT staff interrupting their harvesting lol
