I don't really play Halo. But I do enjoy the universe they've created to some degree.
I had never heard of this podcast until recently, but I absolutely love this kind mock investigative journalism narrative (interesting in episodic podcasts as well). Its really quite good. The topic is about how the ONI (their CIA or some shit). Had done some pretty despicable things to their own people. Mostly before the events of HALO and the Covenant War. Like all of their Spartan subjects were abducted from the Outer Colonies and their citizens were conscripted first, sacrificed first, etc.
ONI had turned the media narrative on the Master Chief, making him out to be a terrorist as he's kind of gone rogue or something. Its really cool. The main character is trying to find the truth about the Master Chief and bring it to light.
