I haven't watched it yet, but from the trailer, I can't stand the aesthetic. Black and white shouldn't look crisp.

well it'll probably only be released via screener, so quality will always be low, doubt louie can find another distributor, or he'll charge like 5bucks for a download, lol.

But I just meant that kinda faux, digital black and white aesthetic bugs me

It was actually shot with older technology. It isn't a digital black and white, it's 35mm in all its glory.
