I think this is from the good old days. Things are much slower/balanced now. At least that was the intention. Also, income bonus for bestiary unlocks added just now.

I took that picture this morning. I am just pointing out the text overlap in that section is all, not talking about the amount of gems I had from early game or anything. I did notice the gems are a lot slower now.

I have no idea how you can get your income bonus to go so high, I rebirthed once with 10 diamonds and bought the x2 and x4 income bonuses (do they stack?), and it's a lot faster than the original game but does it just keep increasing with every rebirth if you buy the bonuses again? How did it get to +2520%? I'm so confused.

The gems themselves give income bonus. So I did the rebirths and bought the income 2x,2x,4x then with nothing else to buy just sat on the gems. Rebirthed again when I had 252 gems because I noticed you get a bonus per unspent gem you have. Now they’re just sitting in my inventory and they give 10% bonus income for each gem.

Yes, to actually gain the diamonds. You don’t actually get the diamonds until you do a rebirth. Before you rebirth they’re just credits and don’t give a passive bonus. Once you rebirth you gain the diamonds themselves and the bonus. Thats why I waited until I had a lot to rebirth, so I wasn’t building credits from 0 all the time.

Yeah I figured it out now.. so for each rebirth, you're going to need at least 12 credits to turn into diamonds to buy every income bonus, and any credit you have on top of that gets turned into a permanent 10% per diamond owned, so I guess you then start farming credits even faster than before until you have enough stored to rebirth again and with even more diamonds now..

I think the best path is rebirth as soon as you can get the first income bonus at 1 diamond. Then do it again at 3 for the next. Then do it again at 8 for the final one. Then just get a bunch (idk the optimal point) of credits and rebirth to get a bunch of diamonds for the big % like I have. I actually waited til I had 4 credits for my first rebirth and bought the first 2 but after seeing how fast it lets you get to the next one I would’ve rebirthed the way I suggested.

I'm also just kind of saving up for each tier of unlock as it makes sense now and sort of ignoring arena income. Unlock Witch Doctor, wait a bit, unlock Gold Per Dagger, wait a bit, etc... There's a big jump between Master Wizard and Necro (I think?) where I'll probably have to go back and invest in income levels and damage to progress arena. But honestly at that point doing like 150 zap and 150 dagger damage is relatively cheap anyways, even though the ROI isn't great (?). Was building a table of all the skills and their cost per $ for DPS but got distracted.

Yeah arena doesn’t end up making much, it’s useful at the beginning but quickly gets outstripped by passive so you just want to focus on what’s the best bang for the buck passive-wise. I think it’s the right design decision due to the browser throttling.

Bestiary unlocks now give some serious bonuses so getting to higher arena levels pays off. Sort of a compromise between farming Arena and just ignoring it.

Oh yeah definitely don’t ignore it, but imo it’s just better to look at bang for your buck in passive first, then just level everything above it as it becomes cheap compared to your income, not ignoring them completely. At certain points the damage skills are the best bang for the buck on passive and the damage will come as you’re leveling that stuff.

They carry over, but only start tracking when you have the version they were added. You had 700 credits? Damn... I can't use you guys for balancing, you got rich before the nerfs.

Runnen : x2 and x4 stack, so in total it ends up as x16 (2, 2, 4). I wonder if that is too much...
