I think it's fine as is. some of us had some stuff from pre-nerf too. And i've basically just had it running for like a week straight. I doubt that's a normal player. He was also at arena wave 700, not 700 credits ~They carry over, but only start tracking when you have the version they were added. You had 700 credits? Damn... I can't use you guys for balancing, you got rich before the nerfs.
@Runnen: x2 and x4 stack, so in total it ends up as x16 (2, 2, 4). I wonder if that is too much...
I noticed when I had to do a reboot this morning. When I relaunched the game my passive Income was way low, until I OPENED the bestiary, THEN it kicked that in and it went back to where it was before reboot. Intentional? They carry over, but only start tracking when you have the version they were added. You had 700 credits? Damn... I can't use you guys for balancing, you got rich before the nerfs.

Hmm that is bad, must fix.Hm, was playing in Brave regular browser for a few days. Closed browser today and all progress lost.
This should now be fixed. Refresh required.Anyone else not able to get monster credits? Been like this since I rebirthed this morning.

Things like that start taking away from the ‘idle’ part of the game though, forcing a dedicated tab on top all the time.Notes from today :
When I did a rebirth, it didn't keep the "faster mystery" and I had to spend a diamond to rebuy it.
On a philosophical note. Since Arena earnings are such an afterthought... If you wanted to make Arena earnings (and ergo gold, gold per dagger, etc) more relevant, you should tie credit progress to JUST arena earnings and not overall earnings. We can call it "The great Haus Diamond Nerf"
Not really, it just gives some reason at all to care about the arena, gold, gold per dagger, etc... And slows the progression from new, which is an aspect of keeping people hooked in on a game like this from what I've seen.Things like that start taking away from the ‘idle’ part of the game though, forcing a dedicated tab on top all the time.
Are you saying people are skipping those? I focus all my money split between the highest unlock for passive, plus all the arena focused damage which is focusing on arena. Check out my levels on my screenshot. Not really, it just gives some reason at all to care about the arena, gold, gold per dagger, etc... On my most recent rebirth (this morning), I went zero back to around 6x my passive income in around 4 hours by following a strategy of "Ignore gold, ignore gold per dagger, ignore dagger damage once you have zap past level 10 or so". Admittedly I am not near your vaunted arena and passive levels. Just noted how I see it which is that arena performance can all but be ignored. Necromancer and Skull Crusher got a little attention only because of inflection points where they were the best place to spend for passive income. Are you saying people are skipping those? In my head from a gaming perspective I see it as passive income and increasing the numbers/levels on skills should play into the reward of seeing our boy Earl clear higher and higher tiers more easily. But the passive income chase makes you forget about poor Earl over there actually fighting.
Which does bring up another philosophical point....
Earl was idling, then the "monsters" came. But from what I can tell all the monsters want to do is idle as well, and meander around. Earl, on the other hand, is a gleeful homicidal maniac, constantly asking me to spend multiples of the US GDP to give him sharper daggers, more lightning to throw around, meaner skulls to chew on his enemies with, etc.... So at some point we have to ask ourselves, is Earl actually the monster here?
Haus
Maybe Earl is the monster... witchcraft, necromancy... killing "monsters" that are not attacking him...
