OK, my obsessive number brain note of the day...

When I was around 6-6.5 Qi/sec in passive income I noticed I was getting around .5% Credit progress per tick.
I am now at 7.66Qi/sec and getting less? (around %.38 progress per tick).

Intended behavior? I mention this because I guess I'm in what would be the "end game raiding" mode of Earl here, where it's all about building up credit accrual, then letting it cook for a few days, then rebirthing to cash in for diamonds and do it all again, but faster.
I can't say for sure. It gets more and more expensive, but you also get more and more bonuses if you rebirth. So it depends on which grows faster at that high level.

i have all the skins but i only rebirthed like 4x, maybe

Ah, since there was talk about making arena do something more (since the gold from Arena is inconsequential once you move up the ladder much at all) here's a thought...

Each arena win gets you .25%-.50% progress towards you next diamond credit. Each lost subtracts that amount. That means if you're win one/lose one, it irrelevant, but encourages you to be winning them. It also makes the credit bar move a little faster when you're in the low tiers of passive income at the beginning of the game/rebirth.

Hello again guys, thanks for all the testing. Do you know of any must-have features/bugs missing? Latest version is V0.44. NB: credits are now faster when window is not visible. They should match the gain when the window is visible.

I have a few key art images to choose from, any opinions on what will fit the best? :)

Yeah, I think my headcanon for him was that he's an aspiring arena wizard who loves killing but is crap at managing his money, which is where you as the player come in. ;)

My random suggestion of the day for the box...

Instead of bountiful just being "get double from chests", have it be "Each rank in bountiful increases chest rewards by 4/5%"

It would be better but it's quite a lot of work for a small gain. But by all means, keep posting ideas. I've run dry of (realistic) ideas and I'm just wrapping up and fixing easy things. And adding skins.

This was just an idea that sprouted as when you hit the "end game" of Earl the parabolic nature of cost increases means you functionally hit a serious wall at one point, but the arena difficulty (yes, I know I'm the only one who apparently notices) keep climbing. Current testing status :

Next plateau goal for me will be to cash in 2k credits at next rebirth. But that will mean around 5 days at current idling accumulation rate.
I do suppose you could also consider the cost wall a reason to push for more frequent rebirths using that multiplier to try to beat the wall for a while.

OK, since you want ideas...

Instead of Voidgazer just giving you the skin, have it also grant you the ability of :

"Call on tentacles from the void to lock your current target into place."
or
"Summon tentacles at the corners of the arena which trap enemies that touch them"

This assists with the "run down that last asshole" phase of arenas. heh
