the credit earning was just so slow
I see 5½ minute per credit currently, ~250 per 24h (will be slower for each new credit). Now comes the million-dollar question - how fast do we want it? I'll think about it, but you might be the better judge after playing for so long.

The obvious solution is to keep making the credits faster and faster for the FoH poopsockers, and secretly make a second website for normal people without telling us.

well credits to diamonds are the only way to increase dps, so if i goto sleep and wake up to like 300 credits i'll rebirth, now you goto sleep and wake up w/ like 20 credits? i was just aiming for the 200bountiful skin (since everything else was found) and thats not gonna happen w/ current speed of credits

Yes 200 Bountiful or 500% passive income is not going to happen at this income rate. Like I wrote yesterday, after reaching the iQ/SX card price range the progress to buy cards crawls to a slow.

So... I changed it to 200%, which seems appropriate for the save game I got. However, this might make the earlier levels way too easy, so I set the price at 3000. I could lower the price... or not. Hoping this works out alright. It is just a replacement of the old card, so all who bought it already will save 2K and get a huge speed boost if they are lower level. Earl'y access.

BTW, I have 4 new skins, and probably a new enemy or two, ready to be added soon. If you continue you will eventually hit another wall, but another card could fix that I guess? We'll see if you hang on.

It will be deployed in... 4-6 hours or something like that. Any objections?

Sounds like you're reaching a point where each "Content pack" is going to look something like :
  • Some new skins. Some tied to achievements, some purchasable with diamonds. (Add reward)
  • A new mob to increase the "high HP mob" challenge gate. (Add challenge)
  • A new card to be the goal to make passing that gate easier. (Add gate key)
  • (optional) A new skill tier to unlock to accellerate Passive Income and add new Earl skills/abilities (also a form of gate key)
The question is finding the secret math between those three things to keep players hooked in.

I'm currently popping a credit every 2 minutes or so, at 1.96 Sx/sec. And it feels, to me, like a moderately OK rate. Of course my passive income rate is not what a new player will experience, because I had those glory days of essentially pissing diamonds and have a stockpile now (currently 13111)

We should all probably store a backup save and start fresh for better feedback but I’m not sure if our autism will let us.

The +200% diamond bonus is live now. Yeah I guess the temporary crazy rate destroyed the balance for you. And your plan sounds about right. Edit: or stop at some point, nothing lasts forever :) Except the diamonds.

Mid game at some point might be easier now, but I've tested for an hour and I could spend all day and not be sure anyway.

I wonder what will happen to your credits now... Edaw is getting more than a credit per second, causing errors. I thought you would go slower eventually.

I have 6030 diamonds and 172% of the 1% upgrades and credits take 1m45s. Is there a way to add diminishing returns based on your number of diamonds? Making the credit gain cap at 1 per 30 seconds maybe? Idk the answer. Good luck figuring it out!
