I still think we just bleed for weeks until everyone is done selling shit off for the year.

So why do all of this instead of just, say, buying a bunch of JEPI shares?

Or should I just buy a bunch of JEPI shares AND do this with them?
I don't think there is enough volume on JEPI options to do this.

No. You want lots of volume for options otherwise you end up with shitty spreads. Its why I mentioned the risk of the stock going done to a point it's not financially viable to sell calls above your strike. There is no interest that far out of the money.

Jesus, PLTR down to new lows. Thought I'd done well flipping it and getting down to a $6.90 cost basis. Should've just cut it back in the mid-$7's.

Tesla touching the top of a more than 2 month long support level back in 2020. I am not saying it will hold but it does represent some strong support on paper. Do what you will, but I added here as I have been waiting for it.

A while back I dumped all but a handful of shares of my AMZN around $145 and took the profit off the table. It has now drifted down to a multi-month area of support dating back to 2019. No guarantee it holds but I like the support and moved half my previous profits back in. If this support fails then the other 50% of my profits go in at the next support around $80. This is not investing advice and past performance is no indication of future gains. Much like TSLA above do what you think is best. I am playing the long game on TSLA and AMZN. I am not 100% sold on AMZN as a total company but I really love AWS and hopefully one day they spin it off.

Quick dumbass question. Never had any fancy bank accounts outside of my checking and then stuff in my fidelity/retirement etc.

Need to open a local account, and I'm failing to see why one would ever open a savings account vs a money market account given these numbers.

Another buy/write opportunity. INTC
Dividend yield is close to 5.5%

Risk is its INTC and is plumbing unseen depths. But it makes lots of money every single year. It is a cash cow.

If you were to buy at $26.5 (not suggesting this price, just example), you can write the January $29 strike calls for 36 cents premium. if it doesnt finish above $29 then its a 1.4% gain on a month hold. Annualized its a 16% gain (over 12 months) then add the 5.5% dividend yield and its a potential 12 month yield of 21.5% not counting the stock price appreciation (if any). If you get assigned above $29 strike then you make $2.5 on the stock price plus the 36 cent premium so $2.86 profit for a 30 day hold. Its a 10.8% return on the purchase for 30 days of hold.

Personally I like the stock at $25, but I might be moved to buy at $26.
