My only regret with LAZR was buying that 12/18 call for 22.50 like Sanrith Descartes Sanrith Descartes suggested *cough*, but since I still made 140% on it, I'll let him slide for now.
Newp. I never, ever suggest "buying calls". I am a sell-side guy. I still have covered calls I sold with a $20 strike expiring this Friday. At this rate they may still end up working for me.

Sorry, meant selling the call. I was just fantasizing about being able to have sold at 46. A win is a win though

In that case assuming you haven't closed it, then it might still survive. If it keeps dropping 5% a day you should be safe. I am in the same boat. What I didn't foresee was Cramer having the CEO on the day after the vote and pumping the crap out of the stock. I figured it would jump in the low 20's for the vote and then drift down to the high teens by mid-Dec.

Real-estate in trouble? Especially business real-estate? Buy why?

"Pendergast pointed to the 10.2% of loans out of the near–$600 billion commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) market that in November was in “special servicing,” a category that is often the first stop for borrowers looking for temporary or permanent debt relief."

He mentions in the article a salient point that no one in the media is talking about. This isnt 2007/8. Those were CDOs and hard to get rid of. These are actual properties. People can just hand the banks the keys and walk away. And its happening.

Sold some too, thanks. Taking the option money from DIS and putting it back into SNAP and PINS until DIS cools back down a little
Keep a close eye on HYLN. Lost of bag holders who have been holding since the 30's are finally facing reality and selling. If I dont see some sort of bounce down here off the low, I might buy and close. I am positive 5 or 10 cents right now and might walk. Even though the charts are bullish, sometimes people just do the unexpected.

AMC may be the next blockbuster at this rate. I was looking at the chart and it was trending strongly down ward long before covid

In arguing about the audio quality for Tenet, Christopher Nolan has said that last year was the highest grossing movie ever for theaters. That's only true in nominal dollars. Adjusted for inflation, box office draw has been decreasing since 2002. Last year was the lowest since 1995. The industry is dying, albeit slowly.

Tuscan Holding down 12% so far. They're merging with microvast after originally saying they wanted to get into cannabis. Microvast will be specializing in batteries for city transit like buses etc.

Thoughts? Sounds promising, lots of cities trying to virtue signal jumping on green energy

Batteries, pot; hey they are basically the same amirite?

To be honest you really need to look at the underlying info on the SPAC founders and also the financials of the company they are merging with. That pivot sounds like they are desperate to make a deal so they can collect Founder's cash.

I snuck back in to QQQ right at the closing dip. Wrote QQQ puts expiring this Friday for 60 cents premium at the $290 strike.
Also my order popped for BTWN (the Thiel SPAC) at $11.00
