Concur.

I'm guessing we get another pullback soon, but I'm happy to be wrong. Also not putting money on that sentiment yet either.
5500 would be no surprise at all even in bullish outcomes. I would say SPY 535 is our don't go below if you want good things level BUT there is a gap at 529 so may intraday gap fill wouldnt be end of the world. The stronger the trend then we will stay well away from danger zones.

Agree on all of the technicals, but most of the macro economic news is actually good, which makes me think we may keep crawl up(with swings of course).

Jobs, revenue, government spending, etc all continue to be showing positive signs and direction. Of course the market will do market things and trump will say trump things, and people will be doom and gloom, but the hard data supporting a bustling American economy are showing themselves.

I still think the technicals show bearish signs, but we may actually beat our way out of it. I would like one more sharp down turn as a selfish way to make some good money though as riding the waves have been incredibly profitable. I have been to nervous recently so I somewhat missed out on this amazing 7 day up winning streak, made a few hundred here and there but overall I've been skeptical to jump in anything.

I did buy some shares of OPTT(penny stock). It seems to have found its low and is stuck in a trough, so its a somewhat more long play in hopes of an unrealistic upward move. It's a speculative play on a company that does ocean exploration. Anyway it's one of my typical ~= 10k bets to see what happens.

Agree on economy but my point is that we don't need an opinion on this, price is going to tell us. No predictions necessary. We may go much lower, and there will be a bearish narrative to tie to it, and if we go to new ATH there will be a bullish narrative to hang our hat on. Bull markets look an behave a certain way, bear markets another. Paying attention to that is A LOT easier than predicting the future.

please 100% do not listen to me. I have picked some winners but ive also dumped 10k into a Netflix/SoFi earnings and lost. I try to always be honest about when I’m doing a total Hail Mary gamble and when I think I have a chance. RXRX was a huge winner for me, OPK was not. I’m still holding that as it trades in a basic no profit narrow price range.

anyway, for OPTT, it got hyped as a meme stock for a bit, but it does have a good underlying technology that may be fruitful. had a massive(and unjustified burst up) but when it settled it settled hard. It has lingered in the .40 cents range for a long period even during this turbulent market(objective). Ocean exploration and technology is a space I believe in for the future(subjective) and with 10k I could pick up close to 20k shares. Average analysts price target is 1.20 and while that doesn’t mean much, the bullish sentiment indicates it did find its low. Will this be a million dollar stock? Unlikely, but could it hit 1.-1.5? Maybe during the next 12 months.

I try to sell the CC on my shares at .10(which at cost basis of .47 is about 20%). In the month, so it offers an opportunity to make money even in a stale market. Where I struggle is the decision to be selling those CC. if it bursts to 1.00, I lose. So my moves depends on date and other things.

i make a lot of plays and this is one of those not a total gamble but also not a total confidence. My personal goal would be to double it, if it goes to 1+ I would set a trailing stop and be happy.

FYI: my sources for these types of shit plays is a mix of Reddit/seeking alpha/after hours/options samurai. I never bet more than 25k on this crap(for me tolerable) and my win rate is only a bit above 60%. The biggest trick with this crap is to know when to jump, not if you get in. If you buy shares I’d leave if it spent more than 2 days below .40, if you have options it would depend on date and strike but I’d leave if down 25%

my profit timeline for this would be 6-12 months. This is a long play. My other is KULR

Tesla sales in Netherlands in April: 382 vs 1457 same month last year. YTD down by about 55%

Most sold EVs for the month:
  1. Kia EV3 - 871
  2. Škoda Elroq - 843
  3. Volvo EX30 - 371
  4. Renault 5 - 368
  5. Ford Explorer EV -  304
Considering the Model Y was the best selling car of any fuel source for several years, it's falling off hard. Some of it is probably also because of the Trump association (I see some bitching about that here too) but I doubt it's enough to explain the entire effect. Most of the Musk bashers probably weren't in a position to buy a new car anyway. I think Tesla's first mover advantage in the EV market is well and gone.

I still dont get Tesla's cheapness and unwillingness to move on to Lidar systems. Their heavy use on camera systems seems an unnecessary liability at this point.

This video was debonked from my understanding - guy was using an older version of FSD. Too lazy to pull citation. LiDAR is also $ but from what I’ve seen it’s been coming down in price a lot with Chinese company alternatives like Livox.

Ummm, what industries magically hired +1.04 million Americans? Cuz it sure as shit wasn't anything tech/service related.
Until hiring 10 Indians for each American you lay off is disincentivised the tech sector job market will not net grow in the US. Automation gunna be hitting hard over the next few years. Simply need a fraction of the manpower to maintain systems as was needed previously and the skill needed is lower.

Time to learn to unclog drains imo

Not a huge deal since they own everything. But black rock disclosed a 1.3million position of OPTT yesterday with the SEC. An increase in their position size of over 350% for the quarter.

Berkshire now has $350b in cash/equivalents. $300b is in treasuries. They haven't been a net buyer of stocks for 10 straight quarters now.

How does Tesla have 382 EV sales for April but didn't make your list?
