I'm baffled by people that pay for financial advice.

If anyone knew what was going on, they'd be so incredibly rich it'd be ridiculous. It's why I laughed at Brosar's "just buy winners" approach. Like shit, I've been holding stocks that go down in value like a sucker. I can't believe no one's written a book about how you should only buy the stocks that go up! Would revolutionize trading!

Kind of like in business some people say things about the companies I do work for "How can they make any money doing that?, I tell them they loose money on everything they build, they make it up in bulk". You get some great looks, some laughs and some that look like they are really turning that over in their head.

20 Jun 22:25 (US) Pres. Trump: Maybe have to change my mind about firing Fed Chair Powell (update)
- “Too Late” Powell complains about costs, much of which were produced by the Biden Fake “Government,” but he could do the biggest and best job for our Country by helping to lower Interest Rates and, if he reduced them to the number they should be, 1% to 2%, that “numbskull” would be saving the United States of America up to $1 Trillion Dollars per year. I fully understand that my strong criticism of him makes it more difficult for him to do what he should be doing, lowering Rates, but I’ve tried it all different ways. I’ve been nice, I’ve been neutral, and I’ve been nasty, and nice and neutral didn’t work! He’s a dumb guy, and an obvious Trump Hater, who should have never been there, I listened to someone that I shouldn’t have listened to, and Biden shouldn’t have reappointed him. We have virtually No Inflation, our Economy is doing really well, and will soon be doing, with the tremendous Tariff Income coming in, and Factories being built all over the Country, better than it has ever done before. If he was concerned about Inflation or anything else, then all he has to do is bring the Rate down, so we can benefit on Interest Costs, and raise it in the future when and if these “other elements” happen (which I doubt they will!). Don’t say that you think there will be Inflation sometime in the future, because there isn’t now but, if there is, raise the Rates! We should be at the TOP of the attached List, not the bottom. I don’t know why the Board doesn’t override this Total and Complete Moron! Maybe, just maybe, I’ll have to change my mind about firing him? But regardless, his Term ends shortly! - Source TradeTheNews.com

Sold the entirety of my MSFT and TOPT positions. MSFT has been on an amazing run and RSI has been over 70 for more than a month. I love the stock but this is just time to sell and take the profits. I will re-enter it at some point in the future. TOPT has been driven in large part by NVDA and MSFT runs. My belief is signs are pointing to Trump taking out Fordrow this weekend (probably tonight/tomorrow) while the markets are closed so he can soothe them on Sunday before the open. This is strictly market timing which I generally piss on and it could very well bite me in the ass. But, I am trading what I see in front of me. These are my second and third largest positions.

I'm not pissed I didn't pull the trigger on the sale of stock I was going to do last week, but didn't because I had a flurry of Dr's appointments and work crap distract me.

Any word on the futures market yet on how bad the pain will open in the US in around 19 hours?

Seems like no one gives a shit about this Iran thing. Futures are basically flat, Japan is basically flat, China is basically flat. Hong Kong is slightly green.

I'll be glad to be wrong about this one. Although I guess we can wait and see if there's any reaction from Iran.

BTC down 3% on this shit so far. And I'm guessing oil futures are going to moon?

BTC usually leads the market by a bit, but even if that's the case I think whatever move down we get will only last a few months.
Hopefully :(

What can I say, markets can be irrational. They never should've dropped 20% from the tariffs either, but they did.

Futures also generally mean fuckall in my opinion, but usually foreign markets are a decent indication.

Yeah, I'm reading some analysis which is pointing out that the market is acting like this whole thing was for public show and a ball of inconsequential brouhaha over the weekend.

I'm hoping they're right. And since I still see a bright future for BTC, I'll consider it dropping a little a buying opportunity. (It was under $100k earlier, seems to have regained that...)

I've tried to scoop up the BTC ETFs after several weekend dips, but the price always seems to recover by Monday.

I’m a bit shocked too but you are correct. The markets have basically shrugged off WW3 overall

I do think we will see oil play a fun game over the next 2 months but I don’t suspect it will be major, but probably 3-6 dollars swings which could be used to make a great deal of money.

it seems the overall sentiment is that the cash printing machine will stay on and the world will keep spending, which is true of course, but now backed by billions in bets so to speak

The closure of the Straight (if final approved) will have a massive impact on inflation. Fuel / energy costs will trickle into every corner of the market.

That is, if it is a prolonged closure. I wouldnt want to be short oil right now. But this will take a bit of time to play out. Not going to be felt immediately. This market has proven time and time again it just wants to BTFD and press on. Until the hard data PPI / CPI starts coming in reflecting those costs, we are likely to just keep chopping around a while here.

I'm tired of this shit, I wish the market would behave rationally for once and let companies come back down to realistic valuations. It's a casino at this point completely devoid of any fundamentals or sense of reality, and it's frustrating.

That’s the advantage of buying the underlining asset - you don’t have to wait till Monday 😉
