Bought NVDA, AVGO, AMD, MSFT today. Small positions that I will add to. Added more to my SOUN position yesterday. Going all in on AI. Bring on the bubble.

My little birdy told me “RKLB just closed GEOST acquisition. They are going in on golden dome 100%. RKLB already has a $580M contract with the SDA so that puts their foot right in the door.”

Just sitting on my RKLB position. Don’t think I’ll add to it for quite some time unless there’s a significant dip - too many other positions I want to add to first.

I keep hearing about SOUN, I may look into a long position there. RKLB is always a safe bet if you are playing a long game. It does have some rough swings though.

Today I picked up some monthly calls on LLY as I feel it's beat down. Up about 2-3% so going to hold this for a few days or until -10% to give it some legs.

Soundhound is *probably* one of those companies that has a good, old fashioned software product that is leveraging AI somewhere on there own backend and is essentially lying that their product is AI. This is almost definitely the case with like 99% of these "AI" companies.

These companies will probably boom and eventually bust much like all the dotcoms of the late 90s. But there's definitely gonna be a boom and I think its only getting started.

All of the "blockchain" companies from a few years ago have just rebranded to "AI" companies.

I don’t claim to be an oracle but these are my totals for QBTS, RKLB and SOUN so far.

What. Isn't our national debt like $36 trillion? How is this possible

Market cap isn't real money. If a company has 100 shares and one is sold for $1 the market cap is $100. If that one share is sold for $2 the next day, the market cap is $200. Only $3 actually changed hands.

It's an indication of what a company is valued at which is useful because the number of shares that exist for each company can vary wildly so you can't go off share value alone.

AI does feel like a bit of a bubble, expectations couldn't be higher right now. I wasn't into investing during the dot-com but there are a lot of parallels in the charts like tech dominance of the S&P, sky-high PE/ Buffett indicator etc.
I'm not running for the hills but definitely de-risking out of tech somewhat this week.

Another issue is the dollar devaluation, while the S&P is up in dollars, the devaluation means that for European investors, the current level is still 5% below where it was in February. That's devaluation is also going to end up trickling down into US consumer prices for imported goods on top of the tariffs.

Welp....sold the LLY calls I bought for +40%. The were 1 month out but it gained 21$ today roaring my options. No interest in letting it chop for a week while time erodes. Taking the win to move on.

I've been doing a lot of quick plays recently. I may put like 10-20k in that SOUN for something like JAN27. not sure which stock yet but basically a year+ out longshot position with a 5x+ goal

Note: these are all speculative hence the 1 year out and moderately low goal of turning 10-20k into 50-100k. Also not posting full DD here, just the core things. Encourage people to look into a few of them.

On the radar(in no order):
  • JOBY/ACHR: achr got the Olympic contract and joby is just a real company making real things. I saw their taxi thing flying around the EAA this year in Oshkosh! Was super neat
  • PCT: a plastics firm that I don't 100% understand, but it's basically a recycling thing where they can take shit plastic and through some process turn it into legit stuff. 2 real factories producing stuff so it is legit, but basically no real order book so not making money.
  • SOUN: still need to do research here but I hear about it a lot
  • RCAT: military/drone stuff. I already had a huge win off them earlier this year so if it settles I would potentially dip in again
  • OPTT: I already 20k in this(shares, no options) but worth mentioning since it falls in the speculative category
  • SNAP: To be honest I do not really believe in this company or garbage social media, but they seem to be making some noise/profit/user growth
  • POET: Some photonics circuit thing that apparently can really improve speed and size of chips. They work with existing chip companies and are cutting edge technology on that front. They claim to be fully ready to scale but again, not exactly posting huge profits yet

A lot of those companies are still raising money so I expect a bit of dilution but I would hope none of them do a full reverse split to stay listed. OPTT is the only official "penny" stock(as defined by under 5$) in that list. So most should be starting to creep forward on their own two feet....or of course just tumble and die if they are lying or fail at their thesis.

Anyway, as the year closes and I have less time to monitor things daily(basically gone all of Sept. and most of October) I'm starting to look for more long term plays that could produce big winners.
