There are some and all are up about 50% YTD.

market is up quite a bit also, but I guess stuff like this shows that “to beat the market” you don’t need to be a badass day trader, but just notice macro trends and adjust allocations maybe 3-5 times a year.

her numbers seem quite aggressive but earning 1500 a week via CC isn’t really that challenging. one could ”easily” do that with sub 200k

i mean, you could daily wheel the SPY with CC/CSP for 500+ a day with 200k(400ish shares). I support her vision, it’s better than people door dashing daily. Plus as long as she does CC on a decent ticker above her cost basis she won’t ever lose, maybe not hit her replacement in 1 year, but at least not lose. I bet she could earn 1.5k a week via that strategy in 2-3 years if she adds funds to the account

She's talking about replacing her income, immediately, with the initial investment of one week of her paid maternity leave. And your takeaway is "pfft thats easy as long as you already have a fairly significant portfolio and you bet all of it weekly!"

It's probably a bait video similar to the bait cooking videos people make where they purposely fuck up recipes and use disgusting ingredients and pretend they are being serious for views.

Ok, I spoke on memory without research, but I did just check. It Will take her forever since she’s starting with a low amount, but you can sell an ATM SPY call for Monday @0.60 or 60$. 4 of those brings 240/day or about 1k a week. Figure you only get that 50% of the time as you wheel so yea, I was wrong but you should be able to make 30k/year With some luck.

Selling calls on SPY (4 of them) would require $268,000 in capital unless you are trying to write those on margin. Seems like that part got left out.

Call me crazy but tying up a quarter million in capital to possibly make $240 a day seems... not worth it.
