Google getting beaten up because of the raised CapEx spend. Everyone blowing their wads at AI R&D. Someday, investors are going to start asking ROI questions.
Not only asking that, the ROI fundamentals in AI are getting challenged because , to the surprise of absolutely nobody who knows technology, thanks to Chinese Distillation it would seem Moore's law is showing up for AI Token costs....

SPCX having quite the intraday bounce today.

Low of $107, now testing $117.5
They had what could only be described as an absolutely fantastic success on their last test flight (#13) last week. So I can see that eventually trickling into the stock. If you haven't you might find the video interesting (it's on youtube). At the end they literally landed the Starship so softly on the surface of the Indian ocean that instead of breaking apart or exploding, it just rolled over onto it's side and floated. And the heat shielding looked like it help up fantastically.

I hope on one of the next ones they'll go balls deep and try landing the booster and starship. That would be the next huge step forward IMHO. Secondary to that show the ability to navigate and deliver easier to existing objects in space (they've already proven out deploying from the ship). Those things are what will be the next immediate steps towards moon landing.

My average cost is like 160. Still dont give a fuck. In it for the long run

Actually agree with you here. The people underwater right now feel bad but as long as you aren't planning on selling anytime soon I'd feel pretty good you're going to come out on top in the end.

MU, AMD, TSMC, and TSLA are all down 20-30% from their highs. I can't see AMD and MU staying at these levels but I don't feel confidenting touch any of the four. I only feel confident selling puts on NVDA right now. I was looking at the options premiums on SPCX and they're insane. If anyone is still looking to go long on space X, you can get in a lot cheaper selling some puts, and if they expire, you still make some juicy premium.

Story is, part of the turmoil in the markets including korea the last couple days includes this dude getting margin called and losing a good chunk of his 45 billion position. He was using plenty of leverage of course. The buyer is rumored to be citadel.

The bits and pieces I picked up from the WSJ have been pretty wild. He is 24 and, as bad as the margin call collapse sounds, it means his fund is now only up like 250% in the past year. Also this crash went down on his wedding day. He married some chick that is the “Chief of Staff” to Darius Asmodai of Anthropic… whatever that means. The Hugo Boss kid was selling his 3.5bn stake in Anthtropic to Citadel to cover his losses, but canceled the deal at the last minute.

Tomorrow is SpaceX first earnings but also another 20% of stock leaves lock up. Will be interesting to see how many insiders look to cash out and if enough buyers step in.

Since it's below the opening price the day of release it makes me wonder....

If there were buyers, wouldn't they have probably bought by now?
If they're waiting to be enticed how low does it have to hit to get them in? Sub $100?

I still think between easily reusable boosters and ships, plus orbital data centers they are on two tracks nobody else is even close to, and that will pay off... EVENTUALLY. Question is what time window.

It's up 9% already today, sitting at $124.46 right now. I'm sure thats helping carry my tech fund to a 4.5% increase today....

SpaceX results look mostly positive. It's given back all its gains today. 8/6 is when one of the stock lock ups expires.

I'm a buyer who bought 10% of my planned investment when it got back down to original IPO and I've been standing by with the other 90%.

I've been waiting to see the fallout from the earnings report today.

Now that I have it, I plan to sink another 50% of what I have left to invest tomorrow, unless something crazy happens.
