I am enjoying the show. It has just enough creep factor (Fucking eyes) that I wince a little. Yes it has the Racism angle and the Native American angle but it is not that bad. I figured the clown was coming. That just makes me wish Tim Curry could reprise the role.

I'm hard on it but I like it more than I don't. I do think episode three was pretty bad though.

Just means they’re starting to pull back just a bit to find “the line” again. Hitting you over the head with a hammer instead of a sledgehammer with the Woke shit… for now.

The liberal bullshit in this show is off the charts. It's like they want to ignore thousands of years of archeological records. Not even going to get into all the magical negro stuff going on.

Indian Lady:
"My ancestors settled in the valley here, but our homelands were much bigger back then. They would follow the elk herds all the way into Nova Scotia and back. But that was before manifest destiny of course. I still have cousins up there north of the Bor- we'll, what they call a border anyway. Heheh to us it's just a line on a map!

Huh guess there was only one tribe before white people showed up and they all lived in the same wigwam. They never had any sort of conflict or marked their own territories.

Native Americans engaged in warfare before European contact, with conflicts occurring in various regions for a range of reasons such as competition for resources, prestige, and territorial control. Pre-contact warfare differed from later conflicts because it did not involve firearms or horses, and was often more ritualized, though conflicts could be devastating. Evidence for these wars includes archaeological findings like skeletal remains with embedded projectile points and historical accounts from before European records of the conflicts began.

It's a show where monster baby Jesus stabs the brave, magical Indian chief to death with the Lance of Longius

Episode 5 most of all makes me wish the show was better written. This was pretty good. I just wish it didn't involve a plan to send like ten soldiers in to the sewer to secure thirteen objects that ring the town.

We get an view of some of the town from the tower the kids use a clubhouse. King modeled Derry off of Bangor but even if we say Derry at this time is this big and no bigger (there's no more town to the left, right or behind what we see here) that mission is suicide. Sewer pipes, no map, dubious guide covering this much distance? It would have worked better if this involved thirteen platoons or the entire mission was to find a single object and move it

Limit IT's mobility one checker at a time.

The other issue with the episode is

None of the kids have seen Pennywise outside of one blurry photo and one shadowy outline so his big reveal is for the audience only. "And then Mattie turned in to a clown" is nonsensical from their perspective. They just don't have any information with the way the story was arranged.

I did like that someone read Doctor Sleep and included Dick Halloran's Evil Grandfather. That was nice.

Overall the best episode depending on how you rate the first.

I know nothing about this show and haven't read past the 4th post of this thread, but I predict that the reason the show is set in the 1960's is so that it can tackle complex social and racial issues like how white people are bad and police are bad.

You are correct, however, in typical pussy shitlib fashion they tiptoe around the subject instead of just being out right and forward with it.

I just watched it, and I almost think that the alien Earth show is somehow light years ahead of this abomination, which is really saying something.

This show is so fucking terrible. Did the Indian scout us escape the sewers after the military guy just started blasting him, who knows. Was I supposed to feel sympathy for the major killing his Italian buddy, not really.

Dick's ghost box is open, and now he sees ghosts, who knows why, but hey this was something talked about in a later Stephen King novel, so we'll go ahead and throw that into the blender.

And I guess pennywise can now teleport people out of existence in a some sort of pocket dimension.

I don't know if it's just the editing or I'm trying to shove in as much horseshit as possible into an hour long episode, but it just seems so damn jumbled and there's no rhyme or reason to anything. And of course we get there forbidden Love between Madeline Stowe and the black dude because of course we have to have that. Something attacked the prison bus which maybe would have made for an interesting seen but nope.

Thank God there's only three episodes left.

All these Hollywood jew producers have a BBC fetish.

take it from the expert folks

also good to see a Dr sleep storyline incorporated well. Bill Skarsgard really knows how to play the clown. Even in limited time this episode it was memorable
