During the scene when we first see him he watches the Patty Cakes walk down a school hallway while leaning on some lockers wearing a school band uniform. Episode 2 I think?
Would have been useful to have a callback. It took me a bit to remember the little bit they showed.

I took it as in reality he was actually doing a shit job and just banging drums and cymbals randomly, but he and everyone else weren't realizing it and didn't care because they were all drunk and we were seeing the "beer goggles" version. Hence the giggling and wavy haze filter.

Man Bill Skarsgard is so good lol. It realizing the women is Bob Grays daughter and delighting in it was damn near perfect. Props to the sound design for making It eating the little girl as awful as possible was great
Hallorann acting like Danny Torrance in Dr Sleep was on point and they are doing that storyline justice. The Club scene was bizarre though and was by far the weakest point. We all know how it will end and it’s fine but they are doing so many other interesting things it feels pointless even though it should be a major plot point.

I can't understand why you would think that. This show is so bad. I'm not sitting here trying to say this to be a contrarian it's just really shitty. I mean we find out that the American military is not going to use the monster against the Russians, instead it'll be used internally against the American populace. Why because people are racist and hate women and whatever the present day politics are.
I'm not even going to really talk about the black spot, where suddenly a quonset hut becomes a giant coliseum. The CGI was pretty bad in the graveyard episode with the green screen stuff but this one was even worse. And then we got the heartwarming scene of the Cuban jazz drummer talking to his crush through the little cooler, and somehow she doesn't magically die, but I thought they said the roof was going to collapse because it's a quonset hut. I mean I'm okay with willing suspension of disbelief, but I have a level of tolerance that can only be pushed so far.
What I find the most hilarious is that even one of the Indians sums it all up better than anything, but I don't think whatever crappy writer's room or AI they were using accounted for this amazing moment.
I'm going to watch the last episode because I know it's going to be hilarious, but the show is not good whatsoever. I will say at least like the first little bit where they were tying stuff into the 1908 real pennywise man and the Madeline Stowe background, I will give credit that that was at least decent, but then they threw that all out the window, so who the hell cares.
The whole goddamn thing is just dumb, and the problem is there a lot of people who made money off of making this abomination, and I guess that's modern day Hollywood but it's just still shocking that anybody involved in something like this doesn't lose their job.

I thought the opening was fine along with the fire itself (even if the cooler survival was stupid, you could have killed the little Cuban kid a dozen ways that were less stupid) but I'm shocked at how fucking stupid it got for the last act.

The opening deal was good for some backstory and I was completely fine with it, but then it just gets stupid. I only got her Indiana Jones and the Crystal skull moment.
And then you get the crucible melting moment? Like what the hell. It's just bad.
The best part of the episode was old Indian man telling them they were shit asses and he was going to piece pipe out.

They melt the thing, something totally unnecessary to do even with their goals as stated, so Lily can re-pen Pennywise in the last episode with the dagger she has thus giving the series an ending that isn't everyone dying.
This is such a better look for Pennywise it hurts.
