Not to be snarky, but it's always good to do your own research, and this took less than five minutes to google. He may be OK if Forbes says good things about him. But a lot of his advice seems generic, so I'd take it as generic advice and not the gospel. I'm not sure what the investment is, but I'd invest very little.

If you're interested in marketing, why not consider a Coursera class? This one is offered by Wharton, and it's free:https://www.coursera.org/course/marketing

They list it as a graduate-level MBA course, so it's probably better than some inspirational words by a guy charging you $2,000 for a bunch of videos.

I'm roughly 14 minutes in. I feel like the video is just looping. Must be a good class.

He moves too much when he talks, and it makes him exhausting to watch. Read a few books I'm sure it'll be better than this guy. Anyhow learning why marketing works and doesn't work is better than being handed a solution. That whole give a man a fish vs. teach a man to fish thing.

Had a call on Friday. I answered and was told "We heard you were looking to earn a little extra money from home." I said no, I'm at work right now. I think he hung up before I finished my sentence. Guy must be a pro - probably a 1/23 guaranteed strategy.

How are these things legal?

Jeff Walker's PLF is pretty legit. I know tons of people who have it setup and run it once a month to sell info products and they're cleaning up. You can get it for free in tons of places, though. Just search on Google or try to snag an invite for the TV.bz torrent site.

My main problem with Jeff Walker's shit is that the guy goes on and on and on. It's infuriatingly dull.

Jason Fladlien, a guy who consistently puts out decent internet marketing products, has his own version of the PLF, called the "poor man's product launch". It's only $27 (or, again, free through torrents - link herehttp://www.1kad.com/ProductLaunch/) and it's a very cut down, barebones version of Jeff Walker's shit, but it works just as well. I'd get that instead.

Isn't Forbes online basically a blog portal where anyone can write whatever they want? I see links to terrible, uninformed articles from contributors over there all the time.

Yeah, I dunno what the fuck is up with it. People will link to shit on Forbes like it has some sort of authority on a topic, and it's some awful opinion piece written by who the fuck knows. They're really tarnishing their own name by doing whatever the fuck it is that they're doing.
