It's his signature style. The director is a metalhead that loves 80's horror movies, and his own movies have this neon, psychedelic horror style.

Expect some neat ideas from this flick and some general insanity but some real D grade acting. This looks fun though, but its def will lean into B grade camp to get eyeballs to it.

I liked Bliss and VFW but this was just a really difficult watch. Not on the horror level of something like When Evil Lurks where it was such a well done and disturbing movie that it was difficult to watch, this movie was the celluloid equivalent of cocaine, phrenetics dialed up to maximum. Style completely eclipsing substance, which is what it was going for but it really didn't click for me. Lots of vibrant colors and the main character yells the entire time.
