No mention of what channel it'll be aired on, hope they don't get picked up by someone that makes it pg13. Gritty as possible needs to have some splatter in it

Judge Dredd: Mega-City One: Karl Urban In Talks to Reprise Lead Role for TV - IGN

Mega-City One producer Jason Kingsley has confirmed that the team behind the show is in talks with Karl Urban, and shed a little light on how the show will handle its plot. In a statement to IGN, Kingsley said:

“We have been in discussions with Karl about his possible involvement in Judge Dredd: Mega-City One for some time. These conversations continue but we’re keen, he’s keen – it’s just a case of us making sure this show is everything we want it to be.

"This needs to be done right – the fans deserve it. Our team is working hard on scripts for the first season, creating engaging multi-thread storylines, one of which will be Dredd’s but others which take us into the wider world of Mega-City One.”

Good to hear. Has to be an "R" rating kind of environment. Netflix, HBO or a channel that allows it or this fails. If it is PG-13, I will not even bother.

Pg13 now is the R of 1990s. Have you seen the shit Syfy and AMC has done lately? I wouldn't write it off based on rating just yet. We need to see where it lands.
