think was announced in 2022. 2023, they were picked up by hulu. actor that played dale was able to record a few episodes before his death. supposed to release in 2025.
the director said they are already working on season 2. "Bobby is 21. He's a chef in a fusion restaurant in Dallas."

That actually sounds pretty funny assuming Judge maintains the same tone as the original where it's good natured lampooning rather than malicious mockery.

Her character is not core to the show at least. You can just say "it's a lot quieter in the house since Lou Anne got married and moved to Amarillo" in the first episode and leave it at that. Without Dale it's not the same show.

Hearing Dale is weird because it switches up between Johnny and Toby Huss depending on what they recorded before he passed. Even the lines that Hardwick did record sound phoned in?

Just finished the season and it’s still just classic King of the Hill. Liked it a lot. Just a bummer there can’t be more Dale.
