Obvious short comings are what they have been doing for years. Microtransactions, poor game quality, uninspired design, IP/Dev house purchase of and subsequently killing, but I really think one of the things that helped attribute this year's award to them again was the complete deflection of this award by Peter Moore calling everyone involved a homophobic blogger.

No Mr. Moore - your company sucks. Your development process sucks. Your attitude towards accepting responsiblity sucks. Your treatment of employees sucks. Your willingness to promote creativity within the development ranks sucks. Your hiring decisions suck. Your license take over of the NFL (Which should be illegal in my opinion) sucks. And holy shit, your entire company is the epitome of Sim City 5.

I suppose a hearty congratulations is in order by going back to the original quote I liked. While the deflections continue to happen, EA just won this award by beating fucking Bank of America.

Frankly I think shit like this is disgraceful. EA is small potatoes compared to people who have done real damage to our economy or the various infrastructures of our country and that people are so blind to vote for a pure 100% luxury video game company over them is disgusting.

I could go on and on about and give you a laundry list, but since you have an account here, this should be comparable to a 10 year old knowing what a strike means in bowling.

To be fair they are the worst video game company around, probably the worst entertainment company (barring porn companies trafficking little girls) that I know of. We know them as the worst company because we're all gamers. But I guarantee you that Bank of America and Monstanto are truly evil where as EA is more incompetent.

I'm not even sure I'd consider them the worst "entertainment" company Vs. corporations like Fox who do actual damage to the world. I think the worst video game company is fair, but nothing beyond that.

I truly wish the internet was not so stupid as to vote for a pure entertainment, digital luxury-goods company over companies that really fuck shit up. Guess I'll just attribute it to "lol America" on this one.

Are you really ignorant of them? The games themselves, regardless of how many I spout off, are subjective. Their company policies, ethics, customer service, employee treatment, IP consumption and tear up, company destruction, poor infrastructure, spin down sports IP upstart support (Shutting down old games way too soon online for force sales of full price multiplayer on games with limited upgrades - especially when those games are better than the other yearly installments they have sold), etc.

You are either trolling, or need to do some research on your own.

To be somewhat fair it was a poll based on consumers and which company shits all over their consumer base the most. Not which company fucks up society or the planet more.

As far as GMOs are concerned yes. But it's the corruption that is involved with Monsanto that is the worst. They have so many people in Congress and Senate. Shit, I'm pretty sure they have a Supreme Justice or two. I think it was California who recently shot down a bill to label GMOs on foods. You have to question how bad company is when they don't even want you to know when your buying their products.

EDIT: Not to mention the monopoly and complete slave practices practiced in the rural agricultural areas.
