Didnt know you worked in the industry. Jessica was a really cool character at first. The ring controlling her was a cool and refreshing take but that was short lived.

As much as I hate King, his Green Lantern one shot was phenomenal. I really wanted him to get to do a run after that. But then he got Batman and ruined everything.

Not the way I would put it, but yeah this show is going real slow. I will start watching it and just kind of zone out and then just go watch something else. The main Green Lantern is fun to watch with his attitude and such. The side kick is like watching paint dry. When you see the good cop bad cop routine, it works because the characters have a dynamic between them that allows it to just flow right. These two lack that dynamic. Maybe Paint Dry will become more human in a couple of episodes, but so far my interest in this show is fading fast.

So guessing:

Hal's not dead and that body is a copy/replica so he can retire and let John take his place because they probably won't let him step down any other way.

Also the wife is 100% the Manhunter and she's using white guy cowboy as her front man. The rightoids gonna be pissed when a brown lady is the mastermind!

It's supposed to be written by the True Detective crew. But they replaced Daddarios glorious tits with some ugly old big nosed Indian lady who thankfully doesn't get naked.

I think the writer is from one of the shitty DEI true detectives, not season 1.

Kind of want John's dad to be the/a manhunter, playing a long game to destroy the Lanterns by getting his son into their ranks or something. Don't feel like he's had enough screen time though.

I think a major issue here is. DC is struggling to make people like their properties... and you introduce hal and john as both these super unlikable, uninteresting characters... bruh.
numbers seem to be doing well? I wonder if its just going to tank, and then have major damage to any other program they try.

The Dad being a manhunter is a good theory, normally you get trained after the ring finds you. That's another thing the show is doing different with a lot of things
