blu ray rips are out, saw this tonight. pretty meh, its NOT a gangster movie really at all. A romantic drama I guess, although not really that either. Tom Hardy is good I guess, you forget quickly its the same actor and view it as 2 different characters. But both suck, as characters but especially as gangsters. I have no idea why they focused so much on the love story rather than the gangster story. Its also not very evocative of 1960s London, you rarely feel like you are in that period.

This is definitely nowhere near any sort of British Goodfellas, its not even close to Sexy Beast or Lock Stock

I'm trying to watch this now and I can't understand a goddamn word.
