Man talk about a great movie. It punched way above its weight. It's not perfect but it's pretty damn good, and if I had a guess the budget was probably shoestring, but it looks good and it's engaging.

I highly recommend.

Haven't watched it yet. It's streaming on Prime for anyone who wants to follow the doctor's orders.

Yeah I was watching it and was going to watch backrooms this evening. Had to take an antihistamine yesterday evening, and by the time I wrapped up on obsession, that kind of put me on my ass, so I didn't get to do my horror movie double feature.

Lone Samurai is a really good though for a low budget film. I guess the biggest thing to compare it to is maybe like a combination of Castaway and Bone Tomahawk. When the Samurai vengeance against the subhuman cannibals fires up, you're ready for it.

Stupid pine needles are falling, and it's wrecking my sinuses and one of our dogs. She's kind of a barometer for whether or not I'm going to have sinus stuff. I planned on watching both of those movies last night but my wife made me take another antihistamine and I just clonked out. Doesn't matter what brand or active ingredient, those things always just knock me out.

I just didn't want to try to sit down and watch backrooms being tired and not being able to give it my undivided attention.

We had that goofy tropical storm Bertha right on the gulf that was supposed to blow in last Friday and we got like a smidgen of rain, and I was really hoping it was going off dump down a bunch because normally that'll clear everything up for a week, but unfortunately no dice.
