Not sure if this belongs in another thread so delete if necessary.
Anyway. I have a 3 year old indoor outdoor cat that went missing for longer than usual right before I had to be out of town for a week. I have a second tabby cat also.
One of my neighbors has been feeding my cat and has not seen the missing one at all for the past week so I'm beginning to get worried.
I return tomorrow to start looking but he's never strayed too far from home in 2 years. I think he's been out for a few days at most. He's chipped and shit and has a collar with my number on it. I get no service where I am presently so I am hoping someone tried to call me, my neighbor just wasn't there when the cat was, or he's hanging out at someone's house or smth.
Notified the shelter with his chip number and everything but have never had a pet run off before. Anyone have any experience with this?
