Holy FUCK this game is bad.
Movement is sloppy as shit, you can't make out things for shit, I sat on a black screen with music playing for about 20 seconds wondering what the fuck was going on. I got into the tutorial and went through that, entered a game with a fill trio on. Everything from A-Z was just "WTF????" And holy boring as FUCK.
And right now I cannot even close the game!
PC was frying like a fucking toaster, had to go to task manager to force close this thing, and then my PC locked for a minute and FINALLY shut the God Damn program down.
Sweet Christ this piece of shit launches in a week????

Game looks and runs great, but the ui is really bad. That’s a problem because you spend a ton of time in the menus. They spent 6 months polishing the visuals but it seems like the ui was a complete afterthought. Will play more today to get some impressions.

The entire map(s) are just fucking lifeless to boot. It makes Highguard look like Witcher 3.
Steam discussions are ramping up and almost all of it is negative as shit. Aside from all that there seems to be some stupid Arc Raiders Vs Marathon competition where these two games couldn't even be less a like anyway. Taking away my complete disdain I have for the cucks at Bungie, it may have been nice had this thing been worth a shit because at least then maybe we would see faster content rollout in Arc.

No matter how much I try, I just don’t like this genre of games. I really like the art style and world building, but I just don’t love spending half an hour in a pretty empty map only to lose all my shit in a 5 second fight. Like arc raiders, I play this game daydreaming about a great single player game in the fantastically rendered world they created.
Personally, I enjoy the gunplay and setting in marathon quite a bit more than arc raiders, but moment to moment gameplay isn’t enough for me to want to play either.

Lets be objective now. Even if this doesn't do great from here on out, it's already completely crushed concord's numbers. I think it looks ugly and am not interested at all, but I can see other people having fun I guess.

That's what happens when games stop being created for fun and are created by businessmen to make money. The fun has been optimized out and in it's place are systems and dopamine generators. The problem with that is you need fun to balance out the business aspects and suits aren't capable of this because they don't understand anything but money.
Why aren't people liking and buying our carefully crafted monetization products? Once games became products it was the beginning of the end.

There is one good thing that came out of this. I stumbled on this one.
Free demo - going to try it tonight. PvE coop extraction and only 10 bucks. But getting huge positive reviews.
