This is more fun than the game by far. Also coming from you I'll take that as a compliment.

I also wish the game was as fun as the tutorial was, I kind of enjoyed it actually. Then spawned into an empty map. What I can’t reconcile is the sheer cost of this vs what they have. Division 2 has a more fun extraction mode baked into a really fun single player fps rpg, plus pvp, plus raid, plus like 4 other game modes and cost like $100mm, less than half of marathon?

Oh God no. I am trying to ween myself off of Arc a little. I have over 300+ hours into it and waiting for new loot and maps.

Next up I need to work on my ridiculous backlog. Nioh 3, Tainted Grail, the Windrose demo was awesome, No rest for the wicked, Hell is us, and I'll probably screw all that up by buying MH3 Stories and Crimson Desert.

This shit sucks so much I wouldn't even play it free to play.

I am also finally playing through Split Fiction with a buddy (couple hours at a time) and this game is really fucking awesome. One of those "I'll remember this part" for a long time.

I am all in favor of clowning on this trainwreck of a game but StS 2 is one of the most heavily anticipated indie games of all time and in a completely unrelated genre. Comparing Marathon to Arc Raiders and Rust is enough of an embarrassment without trying to drag a deckbuilder into the discussion.
