Ever since gamergate, there's been this twisted view mostly from lefties, that artists and game devs exist outside of capitalism. They deserve your money even for shitty work and firing devs or closing studios isn't business but vindictive and retalation.

A lot of people are thinking that Sony would sell off the Destiny and Marathon IPs to the highest bidder.
Sony is known for hoarding IP's, see Bloodborne(they could be fucking printing money forever if they would just fork out the cash to FROM to make the fucking games).
Honestly I really don't care let Bungie and Sony both rot in the abyss forever, this is what they get for chasing the live service dragon, and FAILING horrendously.

Announcing Bloodborne 2 would make them a fortune off of Elden Ring diehards purchasing and playing Bloodborne for the first time. It would easily cover the increased fee required by FROM and would sell at/above Elden Ring.
and meanwhile, "dead" Destiny 2 has 6x as many players daily right now. I'm so frustrated and sad that Bungie went this route instead of a Destiny 3, or some other sort of PVE FPS RPG shooter.

Everyone knew Marathon was shit from the betas they had. It would have taken a miracle and total game redesign to make it something people anted to play.
