I watched it. It’s not bad. One episode so far and Kate plays a good overworked cop. Lots of good characters so far.

I cancelled HBO as well, theres just not enough content to justify paying for it. But their original programs are pretty solid. Just pirate it lol.

Watched the first 2 episodes of this. Really solid so far. First episode is a bit slow with all the set up. Evan Peters and Jean Smart are always a good addition.

I think for someone who never had HBO the content is decent. For anyone (like me) who had it for years, if I wasn't watching it from someone else's account I wouldn't be watching it.

3rd episode is good. The exchange between Mare and her mom at the start is fucking great.

The cast and writing is good. Shit is depressing though. Like every aspect of it. Its not Leftovers level of grief-porn, but man it could use something besides the interaction with Mare and her mom to add some type of levity.

Just watched the first two episodes. Pretty good. Has kind of a BBC crime drama vibe to it. That grim, dark feeling surrounding seemingly "normal" people.

Caught up last night. I'm enjoying it so far. It is a bit depressing. Kind of weird to see Kate Winslet as an almost white trash American since she has that posh British accent in real life. Sort of like watching The Wire and then seeing an interview with Idris Elba.

She's a good actress, that's for sure. I knew a woman (not a cop) who was run into the ground for various reasons, and Kate captures that exhaustion pretty well.
